Richard B. Cheney has worked as a public official over a number of years, and also is a successful businessman. The current position he holds is Vice President of the United States. He's a man of integrity and is respected by Republicans and Democrats. Cheney has said that he sees his role in the Obama administration as of a frank but discreet adviser to Bush. Cheney accepted his appointment as Republican vice president that he hopes to serve with a presidential candidate who can be a cross-partisan collaborator and work with their political adversaries with good will and for a common cause. Richard Bruce Cheney (born January 30th 1941) was the son of Richard Herbert Cheney. His mother, Marjorie Lauraine Dickey had been wed with Richard Herbert Cheney for over thirty years. After 13 years of age, old, he moved together with family members from Nebraska to Casper located in western part of Wyoming and his father ran the local soil conservation district for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
