April Lockhart

April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She began the guitar and piano lessons in 7th grade which sparked curiosity. In April, when she was 12 years old She composed her debut single, Different. The year she turned 14 was when she devoted a great deal of her time creating song concepts and practicing her music. Then she began to take trips to write with her father, who lived in NY in New York and LA. April also began incorporating other relevant topics into the Take my Hand song for some acquaintances, including peer pressure disabilities and teen suicide. Lockhart also has an ever-growing popularity as a lifestyle influencer and is employed by the renowned clean beauty company Ilia. Born without a left hand, she has a significant part to play in her. However, it's not the only thing she has to tell. Lockhart's Instagram profile doesn't hide her disability but doesn't concentrate solely on her disability. The point? The message? We are all multifaceted, and that our physical and identity bodies aren't what they appear. Lockhart has stated on video that she does not want to be defined solely by her handicap. She doesn't want to become a disability advocate who only talks about disability. There are many aspects of Lockhart. But it does not affect my day-to-day life. I still do all the things I normally would and I've adapted to my disability. However, it's a component of me, so I believe it's essential to discuss. Lockhart has served as an excellent inspiration to her fellow women regarding acceptance of oneself. Yet, she confesses that she has had periods of feeling uneasy about her appearance and wearing clothing that showed her arms. Now, though she dons anything she likes and uploads pictures of herself in these outfits on social networks with a sense of pride. She says that self-love is a process. It's hard to say if you'll ever reach the final stage. That's true of everyone regardless of their insecurity. The people you surround yourself with, who know you, and can see inside your soul are the ones you should be relying on to remind you of what you're concerned about.
