Anne Phung Nguyen

I am Anne Phung Nguyen and I am a Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in gorgeous Orange County California with my incredible fiance JP and extremely happy Dad Henry. The majority of people have come across me through my Instagram platform, @annephung. I write about my experiences- my highs, lows and all in between. In 1990, my family moved to America. In the age of 1 and 1/4 I was able to join my parents. In the hope of having the best life possible, I wanted to do my best to please them. I determined to achieve my goals. My plan of life was: I would go to university, get an employment in a company then marry, and purchase the house. I believed that this was the epitome of success but life was not so sure to teach me the meaning of success. The job I held in 2013 was something I dreaded. Money and status didn't bring me happiness. I believed that I was living a solitary existence to get a pay check. The passion I have for fitness as well as my passion for socializing with others led me to find my new calling as an instructor. The year 2014 was the year I began my small business and this year 2021 I will be celebrating my 7th year anniversary. It is rare to find Asian females working in the field. To be a leader in my industry and to provide quality coaching to help others live better health and happiness by establishing a life that is tailored to suit their requirements and to reach their goals. Also, I want people to feel empowered to pursue their goals and be able to achieve whatever it is they wish for in life. When my business was taking flight I also lost my mom. It was the most devastating of them all. In Heaven she now rests in peace after a long battle with Scleroderma. However, I carry my Mom with me and dream of her every day. It is amazing how life will teach us the exact lesson we need, even when we do not realize that it is there. In so many ways, the loss of my mother affected me in many ways. It is my belief that she offered me another chance to live through her demise. She passed away on Tet/Lunar New Year Day it was the perfect time to start the next chapter of her life. It was also a chance for me to have my second chance at living a happy, fulfilled and meaningful life. What I'm experiencing in my 30s is an experience of aliveness and awareness. It's as if I'm truly living rather than just surviving. My story is made available to me so that I may talk about my experience and words. This can help you realize that you're not on your own. You are capable of achieving anything you want and more. Therapy is necessary and normal. Health is the greatest asset. My hope is to live your every moment to the fullest and have a final resting place is not a regret, because that's all we can count on for the rest of our lives.
